
Biography
Jafhar graduated in 2004 and completed his internship 2005. He worked at UHCR for a year from where he proceeded to St. Ambrose general hospital in Kagadi district as a medical officer, later joined IDI Kampala as a medical officer from 2008 to 2013. From 2013 to 2018 he worked as Gynecology/Obstetrics at Kampala hospital and China Uganda Friendship hospital. He joined RWCH in 2018 as a Medical Director and Consultant Gynecology/Obstetrics
She then traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to complete a Fellowship in Intervention Cardiology at Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where she received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures. She actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings.
In her spare time, watches college and professional football and enjoys traveling, swimming and playing chess. She is currently Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. She moved to California where she completed both her Internship (’85-’86) and Residency (’87-’89) at the University of California.
