Biography
Dr.Richard Lukandwa is a member of Royal College of Physicians London England.Richard’s background is in Family Medicine and Internal medicine with an interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology.Initially trained in Uganda and worked at rural health unit for two years after which he traveled to the UK where he has had training and extensive work experience in the National Health Service spanning about 13 years
He returned to Uganda in 2014 and worked as the Chief Medical officer at Victoria University Health Center(Now Univic UMC) for year later working as a Consultant physician
He then worked as a Consultant physician at Nakasero Hospital from June 2015 to November 2016 after which he joined Norvik in November 2016 as the Medical director until January 2020
He actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings. At Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures.
